Thanksgiving Dressing

Let me say it right up front - I love thanksgiving dressing. It's tasteful, warm and makes you feel incredible. And no, I'm not just talking about the thanksgiving menu...I am talking about what you wear to the meal. Incidentally, dressing is my favourite part of the meal. I may not be able to roast a turkey or make the perfect dressing, but I can pick out the perfect "ugh, I don't want to dress up but mom will kill me if I show up in yoga pants" outfit, the "I am eating dinner at my boyfriend's house so I need to impress the parents" outfit, and my personal fave, the "what will hide my gravy stains and inevitable bloat" outfit.

There is a key to the Thanksgiving dress code: stylish meets comfy. My go-to outfit is usually a jean (in a stretch fabric for dessert room), a festive and glittery Jacqueline Piron Tee (preferably black to hide those gravy stains), a big scarf (the bigger, the better...and obviously to hide the bloat) and either an amazing leather jacket or cozy sweater (cashmere is always king). So I have searched high and low for my top three Thanksgiving outfits that check all of the right boxes.

I'm wishing all of my Canadian friends a happy Thanksgiving filled with family, friends, food and fashion! (And "Friends" Thanksgiving episode re-runs...particularly the one with Brad Pitt as a guest star).

Gobble, gobble!

XOXO JP
